These terms are written in plain language. Please read them — they explain what you can expect from Culacc and what we expect from you. They also cover Culacc’s connections to other services, such as Notion, GitHub and WordPress.

1. Who we are

Culacc is a cloud storage service operated by Andrej, an individual based in Slovakia, European Union. You can contact us at andrej@culacc.com.

2. The service

Culacc provides online file storage and sharing, backups of other services you connect, public links for publishing files, and apps and plugins that bring your Culacc files into other tools. You get 5 GB of storage free, with the option to purchase additional storage and CDN traffic. We do our best to keep the service available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime or zero data loss — please keep backups of important files.

3. Your account

To use Culacc you must create an account. You are responsible for:

You must be at least 16 years old to use Culacc in accordance with EU GDPR requirements.

4. Acceptable use

You may use Culacc for any lawful personal or business purpose. You may not use Culacc to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. Connected services

Culacc can connect to other services you use — for example Notion, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, WordPress, Shopify, Slack, Google Drive and others — to keep copies of your content in your Culacc account, and in some cases to bring Culacc files into them. These connections are optional, and these terms apply to every one of them.

You choose what Culacc can reach

You connect a service through that service’s own sign-in and permission screen, and you decide there what Culacc may access — for example, the pages you share in Notion, or the repositories your GitHub account can reach. You can change that choice at any time, in the service itself or in Culacc’s settings.

By connecting a service, you confirm that you are allowed to: if an account, workspace, organisation or website belongs to an employer, client or someone else, you need their permission to connect it.

What Culacc does with a connection

Disconnecting

You can disconnect a service at any time, in Culacc’s settings or in the service itself. Culacc then stops accessing it. Copies already made stay in your Culacc account until you delete them.

Limits of a backup

Culacc can only keep what a service makes available to it. Some content can’t be read through a service’s connection, so a backup may not include everything you see in that service. Each connection’s page on culacc.com describes what is kept.

The other service’s terms

Your use of each connected service is also governed by that service’s own terms. Culacc is independent: it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Notion, GitHub, Google, WordPress, Shopify or any other service it connects to. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners. If a service changes or limits what Culacc can access, a connection may change or stop working; when that affects your backups, we will tell you.

Google account integration

Culacc offers an optional feature to sync files from Google Drive. This feature is entirely under your control — it is only active if you choose to connect a Google account and explicitly select which folders to sync.

When you use this feature, Culacc accesses only the specific Drive folders you select, using Google's drive.file access scope and Google's own file picker. We never access your entire Google Drive or your Gmail.

Your use of the Google integration is also subject to Google's Terms of Service. Culacc's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect your Google account or permanently delete all synced Google data at any time from your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what data is accessed and how it is handled.

You can publish a file to give it a public address, so that websites and other people can load it. Anyone who has the address can open the file, unless you limit the link to particular websites — and such a limit discourages reuse but is not a password.

7. Developer API

If you create API keys, keep them secret: anything done with your key is treated as done by you. Usage limits apply to protect the service. We may revoke a key that is abused or that puts the service or other people’s data at risk.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Card payments are processed by Stripe and renew automatically each month or year depending on your chosen plan. You can cancel at any time from your billing page.

Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments and are billed as a one-time annual charge. Renewal is manual — we will send you reminder emails before expiry.

All prices are shown in EUR. As an EU-based service, prices include any applicable taxes where required by law.

Refunds: We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a paid plan. If you experience a technical issue caused by us, contact us and we will resolve it fairly.

9. Storage limits and data retention

Before a paid plan ends, we email you 30, 14 and 7 days ahead. When your paid plan expires, your storage quota returns to the free 5 GB tier. Your files are not deleted immediately — you have 90 days to download your data or renew your plan. We email you again 7 days before anything is deleted. After 90 days, files exceeding the 5 GB free quota are permanently deleted, oldest files first.

Files you delete yourself stay in your trash for 30 days, and are then permanently deleted.

10. Your data

You own your files, including copies made from services you connect. We do not claim any rights over the content you store. We will never sell, share, or use your files for any purpose other than providing the service to you. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by temporary unavailability of the service.

12. Limitation of liability

Culacc is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by Slovak and EU law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Important: Always keep independent backups of files that matter to you. Cloud storage is convenient but should not be your only copy of critical data.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Slovakia. As an EU resident you also have rights under applicable EU consumer protection law.

15. Contact

For any questions about these terms, contact us at andrej@culacc.com. We will respond within 5 business days.
