Every issue and every page, as files you can read.

Culacc keeps your Jira issues as Markdown and your Confluence pages as HTML — with comments, attachments and images — and keeps every version, in the EU.

One connection covers both. A Culacc account includes 5 GB of storage free.

Years of decisions live in Jira and Confluence.

Why a feature works the way it does, what a customer was promised, how the release was done — it’s all in issues and pages. A copy you can open without Atlassian keeps it when something goes wrong.

Something is deleted

An issue, a page or a whole project or space — by mistake, or by someone leaving.

Something is overwritten

A page is rewritten, and last month’s version is the one you needed.

Access is lost

A lapsed subscription or a locked account can cut you off from your own history.

What Culacc keeps

Jira: each issue becomes a Markdown file, with its status, labels, description and resolution at the top, its comments if you choose, and its attachments beside it.

Confluence: each page is saved as HTML, the way people saw it, with its images kept in Culacc. Changes are picked up every 30 minutes, and the previous version of each file is kept.

Set up in three steps

  1. Connect

In Culacc, open Settings → Jira & Confluence and press Connect. Atlassian asks you to approve access, for every site you choose.

  2. Choose projects and spaces

Pick the Jira projects and Confluence spaces to keep, side by side, from one connection.

  3. Let it run

The first backup starts straight away. After that, Culacc checks for changes every 30 minutes.

Read-only, unless you choose otherwise

Culacc asks Atlassian only for permission to read. Your issues and pages are stored in your Culacc account, in data centres in the EU, and access tokens are encrypted.

Putting things back

Culacc doesn’t write issues or pages back into Jira or Confluence. The files are plain Markdown and HTML, so you can read, search and move them anywhere.
